Outbreak of WWI
In 1914 came the outbreak of war and our work for dance and song came to an end. Our men dancers joined the army, the girls were scattered, the children could not come out in the evenings because of air-raids. So the Club closed down and in 1918 it was impossible to begin again. The world had changed.
