Mary Neal letter to Clive Carey, former Espérance Club Musical Director

This letter was brought to light by a former Thaxted Morris dancer, and was written by Mary Neal to Clive Carey in Australia. Cliave Cary was musical director of The Espérance Club after Herbert McIlwaine. The letter contains the great line "The artist is the only hope in the world today, for we are all in the soup". Mary Neal's handwriting is not the easiest to read!
